Volcanic eruptions in Iceland

It's amazing to read this  in the news, here where I live in Grimsnesi everything is calm.

Ash from the eruption in Eyjafjallajökull has already affected over four thousand flights in northern Europe. All flights are banned by Britain, Ireland and almost all of Scandinavia. Never before has disrupted light in a similar manner, according to BBC news. All flight are banned to the UK at 18 local time, 17 Icelandic time, at least. All flights are banned by United Kingdom .
All flights  to Iceland is also down, according to data from Icelandair earlier today then this has impact on the company´s two thousand passenger today.
