Sometimes it feels as if Christmas has gotten totally out of hand: too many parties, too many gifts, too much money being spent, too much of all the wrong things and not enough of the things that truly gladden the heart. A few years ago, One family took on the challenge of reversing this trend by creating a hundred-dollar holiday for themselves. They found ways to give of themselves, celebrating with their hearts instead of their pocketbooks. To their surprise, they found that by limiting what they spent, Christmas suddenly regained its joy, filling them with a new sense of community and aliveness. Have a good day and God bless.

The mythology of our fables, legends and modern day entertainment industries say it is something we 'fall into'. And yet...and yet real love cannot be acquired, possessed or accumulated.   My mother was 90 years old on December 16 . She is very efficient and can still lived in her apartment and see for themselves. She would not have a big birthday party so she came home to me on her  birthday and there were her children and relatives and we had a wonderful time together. When decorating your tree, you want to remember the following basic tips. Keep in consideration that it doesn't matter how you choose to decorate your tree- traditional, modern, natural- there's always order to decorating a tree. I Start with the tree lights and I like to have  white. Start at the bottom and drape them equally across each tier. When putting lights on the tree, you want to start on the inside and work your way out. Do not skimp on the lights; if you have to have multiple strands, then so be it; you don't want to leave any gaps. After putting lights on the tree, you can add the garland or tinsel if you choose to add either to your tree. This would also be the time that you would add popcorn strings or cranberries to the Christmas tree. After adding garland and tinsel, you want to add your ornaments. Consider ornaments that are different sizes, even if you're using Christmas balls, you can still add balls of different sizes in order to add depth...

I was not very happy with my Advent Wreath , when I saw hwo it came out on the  picture on my sunday blogpost, So  I decided to chance it ! To more White... I took a Snow spray and a organsa material and that´s it .....Drastic change is´n it ? I also began to wright on the christmas card to day that  I bought  from vistaprint and I am very pleased with the service they provide and all the choice of cards you can choose from it´s great ! It's A beautiful weather to day but cold .. Full Moon.... 5 - 6 hours of daylight  is in the winter time in Iceland .  So it´s very nice to sit in the warm houses and writing a christmascards ..   Have a good day and God bless.

Welcome to the first Sunday of Advent! I hope that your family is as excited as mine to begin our journey of expectation, hope and joy at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ! i will light the very first candle on my Advent wreath today--the Prophecy Candle. This candle represents not only the Biblical prophecies about Christ's birth, but the very feeling of anticipation which God's people experienced over hundreds of years as they awaited His coming.   Advent is a time when we can, in our own way, join the generations of God's children in awaiting our Messiah. Of course, Advent encompasses both the arrival of the Christ child and His second glorious coming which is yet to occur! Have a good day and God bless.
