GREY GARDENS

Gray gardens is a powerful movie about the mother and daughter who lived in this house called Gray garden. I watched both the documentary and also the movies. Actress Jessica Lange & Drew Barrymore played a fantastic mother and daughter. This movies had such a great influence on me I was several  days  thinking about it. So today I went on google to search for images of the  house and also to see what people is talking  about this fascinating and at the same time sad story. Then I encountered  this blog and the house is shown by the new owners bought it and change it and it is a real review before and after photos.

First I've heard about this house or movie. I Read the other blog.. it is quite shocking to think anyone would want to live like they did. Must have been in the genes. Then to say all it needs is a coat of paint.
It´s so good to hear from you girls, thank´s for visiting

i saw the HBO film, and i dont necessarily think that the later housing situation was in their genes.
As they said it was a 10 bedroom house, the mother was depressed after the boyfriend leaving her, and the daughter unhappy.
And as time go buy without cleaning or getting any happy solution to their problems the house or environment becomes a statement as to how they feel inside.
And dont you feel when your sad that cleaning is not a priority but it kind of makes you feel more right to be sad?
And as the years go on they get another way of "seeing" things... just my thoughts
